Internet connection was very poor

Perfect location, great facilities within the apartments, Mel one of the owners was accommodating, friendly, helpful and a brilliant host! The pool is perfect for kids (and adults) and the rooms were equipped with everything we needed for a family holiday.

Nothing not to like!

We stayed in Unit 518 over the Christmas period for 8 nights and arrived on Christmas Day. While we understood that staffing would be limited, there was effectively no reception service for our entire stay. There was an intercom and phone number to contact reception, but despite calling many times, no one answered. On several occasions, different people briefly responded on the intercom, but the calls kept cutting out. Only after I became frustrated and gave my phone number when they responded to interom, she called back, and we were eventually able to collect the key. Also I had to read loudly my credit card number with full details while talking to intercom (she was saying hard to hear, I had to read card details loudly!!) Each unit has a designated car parking space; however, approximately half a metre of our allocated space was occupied by surfboards and two bicycles!. As we were driving an SUV, this made parking extremely difficult and we were constantly worried about damaging the car while reversing car. Inside the unit, basic supplies such as tea, coffee, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, laundry powder, and shampoo were only provided for the first day. Nothing was replenished during our stay, so we had to purchase all supplies ourselves for the remaining days!! We also encountered several cockroaches in the unit, despite never opening the balcony door, and it was unclear where they were coming from. The bedroom light was not working, and the ensuite toilet had no exhaust fan. On the final day, we noticed the HVAC unit began leaking and flooded part of the apartment. To prevent further water damage, we had to turn off the air conditioning overnight, which was far from ideal. The only positive aspect of this stay was the location, which is within a two-minute walk to the beach and pool.
