Great location, clean, tidy, spacious room and a lovely full English breakfast. But most importantly a wonderful couple that made us feel really welcome.

"Exceptionally accommodating, friendly proprietors."

Lovely small (6 room) hotel with very helpful and accommodating proprietors. We booked in for just 1 night for a family emergency visit, and requested an early check in if possible. They emailed back , but when they didn’t get a response they telephoned us to arrange this, amazing hospitality. I’m certain bigger hotels wouldn’t have bothered. Breakfast was superb, too.

Amazing hospitality from the owners, bent over backwards to cater for last minute unforseen changes to our plans. Very clean and welcoming property, Excellent value for money!

Scraping the barrel for this one, the mattress could do with updating, seems a little deflated, but other than that, can't find any faults.

We were pleased with our stay. A pleasant atmosphere, a helpful host. The room was small but adequate for an overnight stay. Clean, comfortable bed, good English breakfast with extras.

The room was cool, and hot water was only available in the morning.
