Pheasant Inn

We stayed at the Pheasant Inn for one night and cannot fault it at alls The staff were all very friendly and super helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We booked into the restaurant for our dinner which exceeded all expectations. The food was immense and one of the best meals I’ve ever had. We would definitely recommend this hotel and if travelling this way again would most certainly re-book. Thank you all very much.

A lovely, peaceful place to stay. Our room was smallish, but fine for our requirements. Only downside was the bathroom - there was a bath with shower attachment but no curtain and the water pressure was very poor. We ate at the hotel on one night and had a lovely meal; breakfasts were good too.

Nothing to dislike, the hotel staff were very accomodating to my needs and the food was very tasty and the choice was excellent. Nothing was a bother to the staff and the room was perfect for me. Clean and very tidy, although the shower and toilet were a former cupboard it was decorated very nicelybut would have preferred the washhand basin in the shower room. Overall a very nice experience.

It was our 4th wedding anniversary and we both enjoyed our 1-night stay very much including the delicious dinner at the Inn. Glad to have booked the 4-poster bedroom and my only regret was the view was towards the road instead of the lush hills and meadows behind. Otherwise, we love the place. Looking for somewhere to stay off the motorway to break the journey from Loch Lomond to London. This small country inn was ideal and would recommend to anyone else wanting a change from the usual chains.Clean, friendly and with comfortable beds.

My friend from Australia absolutely loved the Inn. So did I - brought back memories of celebrating my parents wedding anniversary many years ago. We had an excellent twin room- plenty of space. We weren’t sure about eating there both evenings but after delicious food the first night we booked for our second and we’re not disappointed. Great breakfasts too. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommend a stay here.

The room and food and staff were excellent. Unfortunately the hotel had a serious problem with water pressure during our visit. They did as much as they could but the issue seemed to be with the local water authority. We hope it's sorted by now.

The hotel was lovely and homely, everything you would expect from a little village pub. The staff were very welcoming, warm and friendly. Food was delicious! We stayed in Room 3 which was lovely and equipped with all we needed, very clean, I did peek in some of the other bedrooms which were bigger and lovely too! Bed was very comfy however, was woken throughout the night by the church bell chimes every hour but we did have the window open. The hotel is a short drive from some lovely places to visit and explore - ideal for Devils Bridge, Ingleton Falls and White Scar Caves. Would definitely stay again :)

There was a warm welcome at reception to this quaint comfortable accommodation. The friendly service continued in the bar where I dined regally on pheasant and venison. Breakfast was plentiful and excellent. I will definitely return in the future.
