Live Oak, Charleston Historic District, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

We really liked this hotel. A new, bright hotel, so close to King Street and its array of great restaurants and bars. The room we had was spacious, with a comfortable bed. We had an upgraded room, which was great. Breakfast was plentiful, and the staff serving in there were positive and bubbly. A great overall experience, with affordable valet parking too.

Loved the interior design of the hotel. It gave a cozy boutique feel to the hotel. The staff was very friendly. Valet and restaurant staff were very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend the hotel to my family and friends.

There is as not a microwave in any of the rooms. Had to go downstairs to warm something up. Room service was a joke. They wouldn’t answer the phone and when I called the front desk I was told by a rude employee that I would have to come down to the restaurant to place an order. The remote control did not work.

Great location and friendly staff, especially Kiera the bartender!
