BED BUGS! This was one of the most distressing hotel experiences I have ever had. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that travellers DO NOT STAY at this property. I woke up at around 3am covered in bites and discovered what appeared to be bed bugs in my room. I photographed the insects, took pictures of the more than 40 bites across my body, and even kept one of the bugs trapped to show the hotel staff. Despite this, the hotel later claimed they had found only a single bed bug. After the incident, I searched online and found other reviews mentioning bed bugs, which left me concerned that this may not have been an isolated occurrence. The consequences were significant. I had to abandon my trip, return home early, professionally steam clean my belongings, and miss two days of an event I had paid over £1,000 to attend. The hotel refunded the room but refused to compensate for the emergency transport costs, cleaning expenses, or the event days I was unable to attend as a direct result of the incident. I sincerely do not recommend staying here. No guest should have to experience waking up covered in bites, worrying about bringing bed bugs home, and then feeling that the full extent of the situation has not been properly acknowledged.

Lovely staff, spacious rooms, good parking, easy contact with the hotel, nice and quiet location

Large room., clean and comfortable bed

No water out of hot tap or shower, no reply from reception. Whole place needs a bit of TLC They did make us free small breakfast as compensation for no hot water.
