Unit 305, was in bad shape needs a lot of renovation done to it, the air conditioner did not even have a cover on it, leaking tap, not even sure the smoke alarm is working. Definitely not worth the money we paid to stay.

Location was pretty close to the Astor Theatre where I was seeing a gig that night. The bed and sheets were very comfortable. 10/10 for the bed.

I didn’t like that the power to the room needs your keycard to be inserted. It made charging and keeping the room a comfortable temperature difficult while away but I understand the energy saving side of it. The room had some issues: shower head needed replacing / CLR dip, smoke alarm was disconnected/missing, air conditioner leaked throughout the night, and the toilet set up was awkward and didn’t flush properly.

Great location

Nice walk to James St for shopping and food choices, the pub alongside does have this also. Coffee 2 mins down the street. Quiet, great bed and even though the hotel is looking a little tired it still accommodates well for a short stay.

Arriving very late at night and seeing the hotel visually i thought oh gosh what have I booked yet on the inside I was pleasantly surprised. Needs a little more TLC yet overall its an old hotel and she is holding well. So maybe some impro improvements on the facade would go along way.
