I liked that the room had a spa. I liked that you didn't need a key to use the lift. I liked that the room was a decent size. I liked that I got a drink and meal voucher/

I did not like the ugly toilet room. I did nor like that the smoke detector was completely missing. I did not like that the spa bath did not work at all. I did not like that the air conditioner was completely non-functional.

The location is the best part; you're just a short walk from the city, and there are various cafes, restaurants, and bars nearby. The pub downstairs from the accommodation is decent, but I didn’t try any of the food since there were so many great options in the area. I noticed some poor reviews for this accommodation, with one even mentioning bed bugs. However, I checked the mattress, bedding, and furniture and found no evidence of any bed bugs. These reviews reminded me that people often post feedback only when they feel the need to complain. Keep in mind, this place isn’t the Hilton. You're staying in a pub, and with that in mind, it’s not too bad for what you get. The staff is friendly, and they cleaned my room every day, except on the one day when I was still sleeping in.

The renovations at the property seem rather cheap and rushed, and I noticed that the curtains had a few stains. The large spar bath is somewhat of an eyesore and feels unnecessary, as it just takes up space. I also experienced some plumbing issues with the bathroom sink; it took about 15 seconds for the cold water to start flowing, but it did eventually work. Upon arrival, the showerhead was not functioning properly, but the staff were prompt in replacing it. As for the value for money, it's difficult to assess. It feels slightly expensive for what you get, but given the excellent location, I can understand why they can charge those rates. Additionally, the pricing likely reflects the current state of inflation more than anything else.
