Nairobi Transit Hotel

Not a brilliant hotel, but cheap and good location. Good place to put your head down when transiting through Nairobi.

Nothing fancy, but in the context of what I paid I felt it was very good value and the perfect stopover for onward connection to either Wilson or JKIA. Staff were also very helpful.

I enjoyed it very much.The room and hotel was very cleanThe staff were more than helpful and very,very friendly.They called taxis for me,arranged tours and even made sure I could watch my favourite soccer team on T.V.(Chelsea) I will defintely stay there again when I return to Nairobi

The hotel was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The only this that really bothered me was the security. The room keys were very simple, the locks could be easily picked, and there were no deadbolts. If those things don't bother you, then this place is fine.

The staff was extremely friendly, helpfu and extremely lpatience in giving me directions and transportation advice.

Friendly staff. Simple but sufficient room. Ask for a room on the side that doesn't face the road as it can be noisy in the morning if you want to sleep in.

Stayed at the transit for a week. Good prices, good hotel, very clean. Food was cheap in the hotel restaurant. Didnt really like the location, looked like a five start hotel in a two star location. I can't really comment on safety coz I didn't go out at night but I didn't have any problems during my day trips. Staff was very helpfull. I would definitely use the hotel again.

The NTH is a wonderful hotel for those who live in Africa. All your needs will be met. The staff is wonderful and the hotel itself is in great shape, the issue is the location is near a bus park so the noise never stop. The price is right so book this hotel and enjoy your time in NBO.

Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is fine and good value for Nairobi, basically because the neighbourhood isn't great.

I really liked this hotel. I arrived late from the airport, was met by the hotel security guard who was very friendly, at the reception the lady was very nice. The rooms are small but given I only needed it for sleep it was fine. VERY comfortable mattress, hot shower, clean sheets. Very reasonable breakfast, waiter was somewhat moody though. The rooms also have free wireless Internet with good speed. The hotel is on the outskirts of the city centre so it's less noisy though not ideal i'd you want to be right in the thick of it. Highly recommended, would definitely stay there again.
