Brooks Guesthouse

Our room was absolutely beautiful! The wallpaper! The chandelier! The surprising large bathroom! It was very clean and spacious enough for a family of four. The location was perfect and the staff were helpful and kind. We didn’t eat there, but drank plenty of tea from the set-up in our room. They also allowed us to store our bags on the day of departure. I can’t wait to go back.

De kamer was prachtig en ruim. Het bed was heerlijk. De locatie was ideaal want het lag net buiten de drukte van het centrum maar in 5 minuten liep je al het oude gedeelte van Bath in. Ook fijn dat vlakbij een grote parkeerplaats is waar je (betaald) lange termijn kunt parkeren.

Het ontbijt zou iets beter kunnen voor deze prijs. Maar als je vroeg om gewone toast met scrambled eggs kreeg je het gewoon. En er was vers fruit beschikbaar.

Lovely old building.

Breakfast in the lower ground floor wasn’t ideal. Also breakfast was a real let down. It was one of the reasons we chose to stay but it was disappointing. Cold cooked breakfast, croissants from a packet - just poor.

Great location near the Royal Crescent. Staff was very helpful.

the property was neat, clean and centrally located. especially close the queen victoria’s park and the crescent.

the bar was creatively and well stocked. while we did not partake of breakfast, it looked ample. unfortunately we could hear much from the adjoining room.

There was a strong smell in the bedroom. I am not sure if it was paint, glue or the wood that had that smell.
