Excellent full-English breakfast,
Room was large with a fridge in it. Plenty tea and coffee. Breakfast menu was vast and Hans could not do enough for you. Had a very enjoyable stay

Hans, the landlord was so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The Waverley was perfectly situated, a 2 minute walk from the seafront and 5 from the high street. Delicious breakfast and a clean and comfortable room. My 2 dogs were also made very welcome. Be aware that the train line runs just a few yards from the rear of the property. Ok in cooler weather as you can close the window, but in a hot spell , like we had, the noise can disturb sleep. Ear plugs should solve the issue. In summary, we had a great stay, The Waverley is cheap and cheerful, and we would definitely stay again.

Had a relaxing time at this little gem. A great place to centre yourself when exploring and under current restricts the owners still managed to bring the personal touch.
