Good communication from Host and beautiful property, spotlessly clean, cosy and furnished to high standard. Very accommodating with nice extra touches, such as clean towels and supplies daily including fresh milk, tea, coffee & biscuits.

"Single occupancy room at the weekend in summer"

10.0

The owners were friendly and greeted me when I arrived and showed me where to park. They also lent me a charger adaptor for my electric toothbrush, as there wasnt a shaver socket. They were happy to keep some meat in their fridge for a barbecue I was attending and also some medication I needed to take that has to be kept cold. They were flexible with my breakfast time, allowing me to split it in two and they had oat milk which I found a suitable alternative to almond milk. The room itself was comfortable and not cramped, with plenty of space and a sofa. The toilet flush had very strong pressure, the shower heat was instant and there was plenty of loo roll provided.

"Not the easiest to find but worth it"

10.0

Its a great location if somewhat difficult to find. Right amongst some great walking in the Peak District It si not that easy to find though as SAT NAV gets you near - but look for a burgandy B&B sign and don't follow your sat nav when it tells you to leave the road !!

On a working farm with a stable of horses near the door to the property, lovely views all around. Excellent breakfast and service. Would definitely recommend. Thanks for a lovely break.

I thought this was a lovely property and I really enjoyed my stay here. It was booked as an impromptu getaway after our holiday abroad had to be cancelled, and it was blissful. The staff were very friendly, the food in the B&B was delicious, and the setting was completely idyllic and peaceful. It was in an ideal location for getting to Mam Tor and Kinder Scout, as well as close to several towns, but well away from the main road and very sheltered. The stables there were a delight as well, I loved passing by the horses on my way to breakfast, and seeing them come back or head out for rides. The bedroom itself was a lovely size, very warm and cosy, with a nice shower ensuite. We couldn't have asked for more! One thing I will say is that sound does travel in the main house, so you can hear the comings and goings if people arrive back later in the evening. This wouldn't be a problem if you stayed in one of the self-catering residences, and probably wouldn't have been a problem for me if I hadn't necked three pints of pepsi over dinner and was so caffeinnated by the time I got to bed I could see through time. If you are coming to the hall from the direction of Castleton, Google Maps will try and send you down the drive towards the farm which is the turn before the B&B. If you come up to the farm turning, there is another turning shortly afterwards which is the actually drive down to Rushop Hall. Thanks again for having us, it was the perfect break!
