"Peak District "

It was nothing less than amazing. Neil and everyone was very helpful. Could do with better signing outside the premises to be located and there’s barely any water that comes from shower. Overall a fantastic experience.

Great room and breakfast was outstanding - choice and quality with Neil great host. Location off the beaten track but that just added to its charm - quiet with superb views and access to all the amenities that draw you to this area. Worth the effort and firmly on the favourites list now.

Amazing stay here. Relaxing, peaceful and the staff were helpful and kind. Breakfast was lovely. Loved the horses and alpacas on-site and Mam Tor walk wasn’t 10mins away.

"Very happy we chose to stay here"

10.0

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3-night stay at Rushop hall in the twin room in the main house. The room itself was spacious and absolutely beautifully decorated to a very high standard. The beds were extremely comfortable and the mattresses & duvets very good quality. One bed did squeak a bit but they’re old fashioned style (iron) so partly expected. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in any hotel and again quality was outstanding. The fruit/yoghurt/compote combination was superb. There were a couple of things that could be improved: Clearer signage on arrival of where to pick up keys as it’s not obvious. Information in the room about wifi code and local walks from the B&B would be useful. We didn’t have a phone signal (EE) in some parts of the accommodation. This didn’t bother us as the Wifi was excellent, but may be troublesome for some guests. The owners were unable to provide evening meals due to staffing (pingdemic?) and we were well aware of this prior to arrival (very good communication via e-mail on possible local eateries). Again, not a problem for us, but there is no bar/drinks availability without dining so just beware. We will recommend to our rellies and friends as a great place to stay – such a beautiful area.
