Asperion Hillside

The property is in a nice location and very quiet though we had a restless night with the room next door being loud to the early hours. The room we chose was very clean as was the hotel itself. Our room was nice and the shower excellent. Our bed was far too small for two and the mattress not the best. The staff were very friendly also.

Tv channels limited otherwise veryy good

This hotel is not a luxury hotel with lots of facilities it is more basic, but it is kept very clean, has nice furniture and provides everything you need on the assumption you don;t want to spend hours in the hotel. If you are visiting to see friends locally or to see the sights then this is a good base. The breakfast is done really well. There aren't many staff but they were really kind and friendly.

We like small boutique hotels that have been well maintained and the Asperion was exactly that. Unfortunately there was no evening dining available at this stage.

Sadly only had hot water for one of the three days After been shown around I asked for some milk but never got it so had to to go and buy milk Website said restaurant and paperwork in room states evening restaurant only to be told it’s shut till March When I mentioned this to reception all I got told was, yes sorry for this. No offer of a breakfast or refund as a sorry for this, the apology more came across as what ever. Good bye

Great little hotel with excellent service

Room not great. Bathroom sink drained slowly, toilet flush was poor, room hot. Breakfast great, but they want you to prebook precise times the day before. Maybe that’s ok if you’re on business but not vacation.

Beautiful place a little drive from the centre. Fantastic welcome on arrival, shown around then taken to my room, lovely touch! Beautiful garden area with many places to sit and relax with a drink from the honesty bar. Room was nice, very heavy curtains which are needed on these bright summer mornings. The rainfall and massage shower are AMAZING!
