Excellent value for money; gorgeous location and the food was absolutely delicious

Beautiful location with a gorgeous board walk 2mins away, steam strain cafe also - so pretty, plenty of parking & the pub itself is super cosy, warm & lovely. Staff were just lovely, so friendly & nice they made the place. Breakfast was lovely, food was excellent the full english, eggs Benedict & buffet was fab, service again was great, staff super lovely cant fault them

Dinner wasn’t great, food was unfortunately not to our liking the med soup was just a bowl of ratatouille, chicken supreme was tasteless :( It needs more atmosphere when eating, some music/something, just felt off…but cant fault the staff, food was just lacking

Absolutely loved this hotel, a little gem. Room lovely, food fab and staff were great, will be back in October for my birthday

The bed was comfortable.

The tiny shower room at a rate of £250+ was very disappointing. The food was not good either.

Old coach house feel to the place. Outsid area facing the woods was beautiful. Staff were very friendly and did their best to help.

Unfortunately we had room 26 which backs on to the boiler room. At night it sounded like we were next to an engine room on a ship and we didn't get much sleep. From talking with the staff, who apologised for our lack of sleep, room 26 and 23 both have the same problem. This could easily be fixed by soundproofing the wall facing the boiler room. Our daughter stayed in room 7 and that was excellent, so I think we were just unlucky.
