Everything was absolutely immaculate! The service, the accommodations, the atmosphere and general splendor, the room was beautiful and clean and cozy and unique, and the location of the hotel is unbeatable! Will definitely be returning the next time I travel to the Springs!

Staying at The Mining Exchange was a standout highlight of our trip to Colorado Springs. From the moment we walked in, the experience was seamless and sophisticated. The Vibe & Lobby The lobby strikes the perfect balance between historic grandeur and modern comfort. The preservation of the original architecture creates such a unique, upscale atmosphere that makes you want to linger rather than just pass through. It’s easily one of the most impressive hotel entrances I’ve seen. The Bar The bar is an absolute gem. Whether you’re looking for a well-crafted cocktail or just a spot to unwind after a day of exploring, the ambiance here is spot on. The drink menu is creative, and the service at the bar was attentive and knowledgeable. The Staff What truly elevates this hotel is the team. Every staff member we encountered was professional, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making our stay comfortable. That level of hospitality is rare and made a lasting impression on us. **Verdict:** If you’re looking for a blend of history and luxury in the heart of the city, this is the place to be. We can't wait to come back!

Restaurant food was inconsistent. I had avocado toast on 3 occasions and the last order on our last day was very poor.

Opulent, peaceful, historic hotel. We loved it here! First, the staff - welcoming and genuinely proud to work here (something I don’t feel that I encounter very often). Jill the concierge was excited to share with us the special features of the architecture and the old vaults which are still part of the design. She upgraded our room too! The lobby is stylish with beautiful leather furnishings, and this is obviously recognized by the locals as this seems to be where some chose to get a coffee with clients. Unexpectedly we had to extend our stay. We extend our thanks and appreciation to Ben, the valet, who helped us get our vehicle to the dealership, to Brian at the Goodyear Tires store down the street, and to Lulu who were able to put us in the same corner room. The room had a soaking tub and multiple huge windows. Jennifer made sure our room was extra comfy (bath salts!). We really felt like we were important to them, which is a level of service I typically experience at hotels with much higher price points. A few other notes: Oro Restaurant had an outstanding wine list and great food. The Golden Hour bar was popular. We used the fitness center daily and wish the spa was open. The location is very handy to cute downtown shopping and restaurants. We stayed here on a friend’s recommendation and will recommend to our friends as well. Awesome!
