Brookside Lodge

We really liked the pools.

I didn’t like that my room only had dull lamps for lighting. It was fine to see during the day but after the sun went down it was really hard to be able to see.

Location to trolly was great, checkin was great and the staff member that helped us with a bathroom plumbing problem He moved us rooms and was helpful. The pools looked nice. The balcony by the river was beautiful.

They attemped to update the room but carpet was gross. The room itself wasn't clean, our original room the toilet was backing up into the bathtub. The outside had overhang open and not clean rust everywhere. Very unkempt. Fridge didnt work, breakfast could have been ok but COLD and no microwave to even warm it. No coffee and the cook sitting and not taking care of it. The bed wasn't bad but the pillows were old and lumpy.
