Tennyson House Hotel

Nice little b & b. For what we paid it we couldn’t have asked for more. Had a twin room that was very warm even with the windows open. (Although that could be down to the heatwave we're having at the mo. Bathroom facilities not inthe room but very close by. A little drinks area with cheap as chips drinks. And a fairly good brekkie. Would go back if in the area.

This place has very decent breakfast, a scenic garden, and a nice outer appearance. However, the room was quite disappointing in its size, and the fact that bathrooms were apart amounted to an uncomfortable stay.

Nice place to stay for one night , staff are helpful, take your own hairdryer, stairs a bit creeky, (due to age of property adds to the character of the place ) husband bed not sturdy, breakfast was very good , room clean and tidy .... ample of car parking here Sainsburys is about 10min walk from here. , we would return here if we passing through again ...

Good hotel for the price

No lampshade to main room light just bare bulb. Curtains/rails I’ll fitting. Shower head was difficult to adjust and not much oomph in it. Outside areas looked rather scruffy/ tired. Wiring to TVs in bedroom and dining room looked unsightly/ shoddy. But overall accommodation and breakfast were good 7/10

Good and clean hotel.

Good location - easy walking to the railway station. Basic B and B, but comfy. shower flow was poor.

Such friendly staff. The hotel was clean and staff helped as needed. Breakfast hot and served in good time.

Clean hotel but the bed was like a stone and the breakfast was abysmal ok if your on a diet but not substantial for working man

Handy, quiet location, friendly staff & decent breakfast. Good value.
