Amazing hosts, big, clean rooms with huge beds. Very good breakfast and nice & cozy pub.

Outstanding place to stay

A lovely little B and B, Stuart was very welcoming.

Lovely little cottage! Everything you could need for a week away , stayed for work and was able to cook meals, comfortable bed , sky tv , Netflix, private gated parking so the van was secure . Honestly one of the best little places I’ve stayed for ages !!

Lovely quiet little place to stay. Easy driving distance of York without the noise and busyness of the city. Staff were very helpful and communicated with us well. The room was exceptionally clean. We were offered breakfast but declined due to other plans, it smelt amazing so next time we stay, breakfast will be a definite.

Another great find, Hosts were friendly and gave advice on where to eat, even phoned another pub to check if food was available. The beer was great and well priced, had a great evening with the locals, the room was lovely and breakfast fantastic. I read mixed reviews, but will look to stay here again when in the area and thoroughly recommend it.

Nice venue, rude owner.

Lovely clean cottage with courtyard parking. Host's very friendly and welcoming. Spent an evening in the bar with the regulars who were all very friendly.
