Beautiful hotel

All of the staff were incredibly nice and accommodating. They even called to make sure I wouldn’t miss breakfast as I had already payed for it. The pool was beautiful and the rooms were clean and comfy!

Das Hotel ist im super Zustand. Es gibt nur am Pool einige offene abgeklemmte Kabel. Das Personal am Pool war völlig desinteressiert und lag mit dem Handy auf den Poolhandtüchern.

Very scenic setting and picturesque resort. About a 20 minute walk to the heart of town but can get a tuk tuk for about $4 and they can take 4 of you for that. It is right next to the old bridge but be mindful that it's pedestrian so ask tuk tuks to drop you off right at the bridge then you'll need to walk across to the hotel. I loved that the rooms were individual chalet style with much more character than many hotels. Also had a small patio area out back to relax in and with views of the river. Lovely pool area and bar. I particularly liked that 4 or 5 cats were roaming about the gardens, but this aspect may not be for everybody! Only disappointment was the breakfast selection and the fact that my room was on the very far side and quite a walk to get to - not great for a female on her own after dark, felt a bit isolated out there. But I guess someone has to have the far away rooms.

This hotel was relatively nice for the price. However, there was basically no free Wi-Fi service as advertised. It only worked in the lobby area. There was zero Wi-Fi connectivity in the rooms. And even the Wi-Fi that was available, the lobby was severely slow, especially if you’re used to Fast Internet speeds. Also, the booking showed a check in time of 12 o’clock. But when we arrive at 12 o’clock, the staff tried to tell us that the room would not be available until 2 o’clock. After some explanation into false advertising, the rooms were somehow Made more rapidly available. I would recommend the hotel, as I said, there is really no Wi-Fi to speak of. Enjoy though if you go and stay there.

Outstanding property, customer service and breakfast buffet. It is about a 20-minute walk into town. The only minor inconvenience was many tuk tuk is unable to cross the bridge so you just have to walk across to catch a cab or tour bus.

After spending two and a half weeks travelling around Vietnam and Cambodia We arrived in Laos in darkness, which was unfortunate as we could not see much of the resort, just the foliage and corridors and paths en route to our room, which was on the far side of the complex. The rooms are colonial with a large fan as well as air-conditioning. They are very clean and the fridge was well stocked with beer and soft drinks which was very welcome. Unfortunately there had been a storm the day before and we had no Wi-Fi for two days. This was eventually resolved but it’s also affected the TV. we needed to change $100 into smaller denominations, but the reception staff gave a point blank “no”, which was unexpected as all the other hotels had been very obliging. Ngern and Year in the restaurant were consistently polite and helpful, all staff were very friendly. My comparison to the other hotels that we have stayed in on this trip, the buffet breakfast is quite small, but you can ask for an omelette, If you ask for tea and don’t stipulate whether you want English to , you will get green tea! The hotel is took, took ride away from Knight market, but that only cost about $1 per person each way. The night market is worth a visit, and you do not get hounded by the sellers like you do in Cambodia/Nam.

Super incredible hotel with the most amazing service. The whole experience was fantastic. The food and service AWESOME!! Thank you to Ngern for taking care of us at breakfast - so polite and gracious. Thank you for sharing your culture and traditions with us in your beautiful country.

This a friendly small hotel which is an easy walk across the old French pedestrian bridge into town. Our room was spotless with every need attended to. The restaurant is alongside the river with lush views. It was a delight to enjoy a relaxing breakfast there sampling the many offerings at the huge breakfast bar and being served the best coffee ever!

This resort is beautifully designed with fabulous gardens that fit perfectly with the French colonial design. The staff are extremely accommodating without being intrusive which in itself is a real art. We booked a villa with a river view, it was very spacious with a super-king size bed, good fridge and excellent air-con, T.V is not brilliant as there are very few English channels, they need to add smart boxes so people can log in to their Netflix accounts or Amazon. if like me you bring your laptop because we have to for business, when you have strong wifi like Le Bel has then we can watch programmes on my laptop. Very functional bathroom with high-end toiletries and beautifully designed Wonderful view from the veranda in the mornings with a coffee and a clear mind looking at the pool and the river, absolute bliss. The Infiniti swimming pool is eye-catching and sells the resort, especially at sunset, totally my favourite spot. We have been travelling since January 1st, the breakfast is in a beautiful building but unfortunately is not the best, it is a poor offering with very little choice. I never eat white bread which I find rather unhealthy, My preference is brown. I am not going to comment anymore as it is just an offering, This resort is stunning, perfectly positioned, with great views and reasonably priced for what you get, It has been a wonderful step into the life of the people and town of Luang Prabang, what a wonderful place.
