Rumi Wasi

Located close to main square around a small central courtyard over several levels. Small breakfast balcony with views. Breakfast is to pre-order from list which works as there only appears to be one member of staff. Unpretentious and reasonably quiet.

Room was a bit tight with suitcases.

A very welcoming and warm hotel. Thank you to the girl who welcomes the guests, and made us tea while we checked in.

Very friendly staff, clean unique bedroom, breakfast on the balcony overlooking Cusco was amazing. For me the only slight is that it’s a big step into shower/bath (I’m 5’4”) but that said, I would 100% recommend this place to anyone.

We had an excellent stay at Rumi Wasi. In particular, Manuel Amaut was outstanding, and his English language skills were super helpful! Upon arrival, Manuel provided wise counsel about acclimating to the altitude, which was spot on. Later, our son had to go to the hospital for what was diagnosed as a bruised rib, and Manuel made all the arrangements, including coordination with the hospital to ensure a short wait and an English-language doctor. Rumi Wasi was a charming, quiet and a super comfortable lodging!

Best place we stayed on our Peru trip. Very cute, close to Plaza de Armas, tasty breakfast every morning, friendly staff, good shower pressure / heating. Would recommend this place if you're staying in Cusco!
