"Make sure you receive what you pay for"

6.0

On arrival we were checked in to a dump of a room that was tired, dirty and should not have been seen by guests. I asked why I was not put in the seaview room I had booked, I was told that I had made a mistake and had to see someone in the morning. I did not unpack but had to sleep there for the night and was moved the next morning on my request. Not a great start to the holiday. The room we were moved to was much better. When we left we waited for a long time for our room to be checked while other guests were just handing there keys in and receiving there deposit back without waiting, Is this because i would not stay in the dump of a room that i was offered.very poor customer service.

"OK stag/hen/school parties - not if you have kids"

6.0

You get what you pay for - it is a relatively cheap hotel so don't expect luxury. The rooms are basic and pretty clean, don't expect them to be spotless though. The mattresses on the single beds are really uncomfortable, the mattress on the sofa and the pull out one were much better. The main problem is the mixture of families and stag/hen/school parties there. They have 2 separate buildings and they should really try to keep the different guests in separate buildings. They have a few notices for guests to respect noise levels but these are not enforced and you are likely to spend a few sleepless nights because of them partying (especially on their last night - when there is nothing the hotel can do in terms of enforcing their written threat of kicking them out)! The kitchen could also do with a few more basics, Bear Grylls would have struggled to start a fire on the hob, we had to go in search for matches at 23:30 when we arrived! Although there is a microwave it could really do with a kettle and an oven. We had to boil water in a frying pan for a cup of tea! The pool and surrounding area were great - it was lovely not to have to wake up early every morning and place your towel on a sunlounger - there were plenty for everyone throughout the whole day. Overall - it was a relatively nice place, just do not go there if you are looking for a succession of restful nights. If you have young children then maybe think twice. You will be shattered by then end of the week.

"Els Llorers review"

4.0

The hotel is in a nice location about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Lloret however, there is a 'steepish' climb to the second building (the one with the mountain view) which holds the reception also if you use the airport transfer services the bus drops you at the 'bottom' of the hill - this may not be suitable for elderly people or those with difficulties in walking or carrying baggage. The building has no 'sound proofing'. Every small sound is heard which can make for a disturbed sleep if people have been out late. We asked to be moved as we were in a room next to 4 young men. The staff were very attentive to this and moved us to the top floor. If you are interested in keeping up to date with the news etc., there is no English speaking channels on the TV. The swimming pools were nice and the staff were very helpful.

"Super sleeping for the buck"

10.0

literally for pennies in November, I slept in a large fully-equipped apartment. A small tv, small beds, you need a car. Anyway it was a good choice
