Emily Suites

Stayed here with my partner for 5 nights in April. We had the turquoise room which was really big and had all of the facilities that we needed, wi-fi, fridge etc The best thing about Emily Suites was the staff, Emilia, the owner was absolutely lovely. She spoke excellent English and went out of her way to resolve our hot water issue and give us information about the area and the transport options to the airport. Emilia’s father was also lovely, he offered us free lifts down to the port and offered to drive us to the station with our luggage. He also very kindly gave us a bag of huge lemons to take home with us. The cleaning lady was wonderful, she made lovely breakfasts which were very substantial, it varied each day which was much appreciated. She went out of her way to accommodate our plans and was really friendly. She thoroughly cleaned the room everyday to an excellent standard – cleanliness is really important to both of us and so we were extremely happy and satisfied with the standard at Emily Suites. The only small issue was with the hot water supply, this was limited as the rooms run off a tank. This was a minor niggle and did not cause us any discomfort and overall they in no way affected our experience of Emily Suites. We would definitely stay here again if we return to Sorrento. I booked our trip to Italy as a present for my partners 50th and was really pleased with my choice of accommodation, it really added to what was an excellent holiday.

I stayed in Emily Suites with my daughter in March this year. We were pleasantly surprised with the central location of the suites. It is located 5 minutes walk from the town centre 2 minutes from the train and bus station. The room itself was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Free wi-fi was an added bonus! The staff were very friendly and made every effort to ensure our stay was comfortable. Maria who brought us breakfast every morning was so friendly and made us feel very welcomed. All in all,we would recommend this hotel and would certainly come back. :0)

Overall it was a good deal for the price. It was very hard to find. Look for the Esso station and Hotel Gardenia (where you can park). Emily Suites will be on the opposite side of the street. Look for a small sign on the wall next to the door. Make sure you have the phone number so they can let you in and help you with directions. Our gps got us to the general area but we needed further assistance. The breakfast was good but the bed was hard in my opinion.

Large room and very clean and quiet. Breakfast was very limited. Close to transportation and shopping. Check-in was difficult because the building was secure and we had to call the owner and wait for her to come and give us the key, about 15 minutes.

good location right on main street; loud during evening hours, but was quiet over night; the rooms were clean and cute; one room has balcony overlooking main street; staff was nice and helpful with local information (we had to call upon arrival as they are not on site); parking available down the street for an additional fee; breakfast was simple.
