Ocean Beach Hotel

My stay was comfortable and very convenient for me to access the motorway south the next day. This is an older place but was clean and the unit did not smell or have an aroma. I did ask to view the unit beforehand & the staff obliqued with my request. I have stayed in some very unpleasant rooms and as an older person I am not prepared to put up with that anymore. I was happy, had a pleasant night sleep and the unit had everything I needed. I liked the fact that they had decent curtains with a blockout fabric and a couple of hot water bottles which was a nice and thoughtful touch. The units are separate from the hotel itself, there was no loud noises from the hotel although it was a Wednesday night that I stayed. Yes I would definitely stay here again.

was a disaster, told no booking. incompetent staff onsite at time of trying to check in. premises felt a bit dodgy just parking. had to find other accommodation and get a refund sorted

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Very good location to explore Dunedin

Great location, good water pressure but the unit was tiny. Only a toaster, a fridge and a jug, no way could you make a feed. For the price I expect more.

The size and lack of cooking facilities. Also a mould issue.

Very much dated and needs an update , clean and central , hosts were lovely , parking was not easy as locals were parked outside units while using the pub , our 2nd night we were awake till after midnight as there were arguments and screaming outside the pub/reception
