The rooms were adequate - barely

This place promoted itself as more upmarket than it was. In reality, it was a few motel units attached to a fairly mediocre pub. The rooms were too close to the bar carpark, so that we were plagued by late-night revelry and vehicle noise at closing down time, well after most travellers have gone to bed. The facilities in the room were adequate and clean but minimal and well-worn. Fair enough for a less expensive night I guess but not the image that is painted in the advertising.

Good parking. Didn’t use the hotel.

Good location, the room was clean, it’s affordable and the staff was very friendly. Easy access and parking too. I recommend this hotel.

No sink or microwave and having to fill jug from the shower rose

Was a good affordable place to stay. Just a couple of things but nothing serious, you dont have an allocated park so people who are in the bar can park right outise your room so you have to park down a wee bit further. Also our t.v wouldnt work properly. It kept trying to connect to netflix while watching tv then once it was off it would turn on randomly. Other than that i would recommended this place. The bar staff were friendly and the cleaners were wounderful.

The motel itself was decent, clean and functional, with easy access. 10 yards from the pub! One tip for filling the kettle - you can't direct from the tap. So fill the ceral bowls and then use them to in turn fill the kettle. I found the pub friendly and was busy that night with four darts matches on. Didn't eat though. The bloke that runs it was very friendly and told me about the darts, community and the history. The pub also provides free electrical hook up points for caravans etc. Finally, 5 mins walk from an incredibly sandy beach - must be fantastic in the summer. Overall, would I stay there again? Definitely.
