When departing the airport, I learned that NH was under new managment and changed names to Now Larimar which made it difficult to explain my destination to the taxi driver. The information desks at the airport informed us of this and I was still uncertain of whether or not I would make it to the correct hotel. Upon arrival to the hotel, the front desk clerk did not acknowledge me and was not helpful. She didn't explain what was required of me to check in. I handed her my passport in which she made a copy of and gave back to me. I'm still not certain why/if she needed a copy. I don't recall any other international hotels making copies. She then gave me my room key and did not explain how to get there, I had to ask her. At minimum, the desk clerk should have given me a brief overview of the hotel, it's not like anyone was wainting in line behind me. The information from three separate desk clerks were inconsistent in regards to the use of the resort next door. I didn't learn until the day before I left that I could go there, I was previously informaed a needed to purchase an all- inclusive package and recieve a wrist- band. The housekeepers never replaced my face towel the entire stay, the floors were dirty when I arrived and throughout my stay. Gym was small. The spa services and staff were really nice. The hotel is a nice for guests who plan to be away all day and return just for sleep. There were not many places to sit and relax.

We were staying there because we saved more money by booking a flight one day later so we stayed at a resort and then at the nh it was a good basic hotel in a great location. Everyone was really helpful and accomiadating. Breakfast had lots of choices. shopping was within walking distance. The only complaint i have is the bed was really hard.

Room nice and clean but echoed badly especially in the hall heard alot of doors banging through out the night. No pool on sight but next door at the resort. A walk to the beach but worth it.

My gf and I had a 4 night stay here and we had a very nice time. The place was very modern and the staff was very friendly. GIven the price and the abilities to use Now Larimar's facilities (extra charge) it was an excellent value overall and would definitely stay here again. Perfect for us because half the days of our vacation were spent on excursions when we didn't want to pay for all inclusive rates. Our safe had a dead battery and they promptly fixed it. Breakfast was average to good... you can have eggs made to order if you want. WiFi is free and worked fine.

I enjoyed my stay and look forward to my next visit and my stay at NH punta Cana . The staff and services were incredible everyone made me feel at home especially Carlos who made sure my room was clean everyday and always asked if there was anything he could do for me while I stayed in room 106.

My first trip to DR - Stayed at the HR Casino for 4 nights and it was great...but I didn't get any feel for Punta Cana at all so I decided to extend my stay and try something outside of the mega resort. Spotted this for $101/ night and since I'm familiar with the chain I booked it. All the other hotels were going for 3 or 4 times this rate BTW. Ok so its small ( 66 well appointed rooms.. loved that. Easy to get in and out plus the entire friendly staff knows you after the first day. AWESOME PART ALERT - Literally 20 feet from the from the front door there is a guarded gate that leads you to an all-inclusive resort. It's a big 4.5 star place with great food and lots of fun pools, and the best beach I've ever seen...and I've seen LOTS of beaches. As a guest you can 1) get a clear wristband that gives you full access to the all inclusive resort for FREE. Cant buy anything there though since its all inclusive. OR 2) for just $58 bucks you get a BLUE wristband and you are ALL INCLUSIVE at the resort all day and night. WOW. Cool thing is you can decide day by day what you want so your not locked into anything each day. Also - the hotel has a complimentary great breakfast buffet that lasts till 11ish..I ate there at noon one day... so your already covered for at least one meal every day. Add FREE WIFI and great 24x7 room service menu and I couldn't imagine a better deal. Highly recommend it and I will be back.

The room was great. We bought bands for the resort. It was an awesome time for a awesome price!

All the front desk attendants were very helpful. Rooms were clean.

It was as good as we expected. We're looking for something affordable close to the beach without "all inclusive", since we would be paying for something that we didn't want or need. By using a pass to NOW Larimar resort we were able to use only the pool, getting towels and chairs to be on the beach. And the best was the access to the beach which you don't have many option if you're not in one of the resorts. Public beach is practically impossible in Punta Cana.

Easy check-in, room has everything one need - fantastic value for your money!
