Royal Savoy Sharm El Sheikh

The property is very well located. Complementary transfer from/to the airport was a great advantage. The rooms were spacious and clean and with all amaneties. Staff was very polite and attentive. Mina from the reception is a real star of service. Breakfast was great!

The food at the restaurants is not exceptional, it’s ok. Nothing special, but the staff was attentive.

We stayed for 7 days at the royal savoy - the staff are welcoming, accommodating and friendly..we stayed during a particularly busy week, according to staff but this was also evident with the amount of other guests seen around the lobby, pool, beach etc. We found this did not affect our chances of getting a sun bed at the pool or by the beach (we are not early risers). The staff who attend you to a sun lounger were some of our favourites - friendly and chatty and nothing was too much trouble for them..even with the hot temperature! The rooms are nice, although a little dated furniture/decor wise.. they were clean, the AC was 10/10 and the shower was nice, the bed was huuuuge and comfy thick pillows! - the essentials all ticked off for us. The mini fridge options were a nice bonus and there is a coffee machine in the room also! We opted for a late check out (additional 75$ to check out at 6pm apposed to 12pm) - the staff helped us to move to a different room on check out day and this was an equally nice room. The balcony is huge, the only downside is the way they are set back on an angle - you don’t get too much sun which can be a win if you don’t want the room to be glaringly bright, but I quite like to sit on the balcony towards the end of the day to catch the last few rays so I was a little disappointed (not the hotels fault obviously - but just a note for other sun worshipers) We are foodies on holiday - but we don’t usually do an all inclusive stay - so this was different for us. Plenty of options for restaurants but you must book in advance (day before) otherwise you’re left with 22:00 reservations and that’s not our vibe. We didn’t enjoy the lack of spontaneity with this, but not a huge deal. The food is good, our favourite was the Turkish restaurant by the beach and the pool snacks (burgers/fries) . Finally, I’d like to specifically mention the reception staff. We arrived late and tired on the first night and they’d checked us in quickly, offered refreshments and booked us a late light meal to keep us going. They helped us book a boat trip (definitely do this) for snorkelling and organised a late check out room change and other bookings when we couldn’t work out the hotel app. They even gave me a little gift when we checked out. We were recommended by friends to stay at the adults only Royal Savoy Sharm el Sheikh . It surpassed our expectations in every way . Beautiful position with private beach club area and swimming pontoon . The hotel pools were super and the pool guys so friendly and helpful . A fresh towel and ice box with cold water was delivered immediately . Large bedroom with lovely balcony , everything you could possibly need including delicious cakes in the room and a well stocked fridge . Excellent choice of restaurants onsite and at Soho Square . The food was first class . It was reassuring to see a dedicated food hygiene member of staff who was checking all the food items on the buffet . Standout member of staff was Daria a Russian national who was in charge of delivering hospitality and staff training . She was everywhere . Connecting with hotel guests around the pool and engaging with them to discuss how the guest experience was going . She was totally dedicated to raising the standards and keeping staff at peak performance . She was absolutely fantastic . Her personal presentation was immaculate. Her command of English excellent . A charismatic and outstanding representative for this hotel .

The Royal Savoy is an excellent hotel and we had a really enjoyable stay there. The reception is well run with courteous, knowledgeable and helpful staff, and check-in was accompanied by a welcome juice drink. We were taken to our room, which was large and well appointed, with an excellent bathroom. The Royal hotel itself is part of the very large Savoy Hotel but is reserved for adults and is more exclusive. The staff are friendly, efficient and thoroughly charming; they anticipate one’s needs and we felt thoroughly cosseted whether we were in the breakfast lounge, the bar, or by the pool. The breakfasts were really excellent with a large and well tended buffet and a wonderful egg station: the chef really knows how to make delicious eggs Benedict and omelettes. Breakfasting on the terrace overlooking the lovely grounds was a wonderful start to each day. Similarly, the cocktail hour in the lounge bar below was a real treat to look forward to each evening, with canapés and premium drinks, after a day reading and sunbathing by the pool. The facilities are what you would expect of a five star hotel, with beautifully kept pools, loungers and parasols, a gym, sauna etc. but it is the staff of this hotel that really set it apart from the crowd: they are an absolute delight. For a relaxing and sun filled time, there’s no better place to go, and we shall return.

Location was perfect, atmosphere was peaceful an tranquil, the room was prime location to the pools and beach and the staff were so tentive, polite and friendly couldn't do enough to assist an help you in away possible. And the whole resort was spotlessly clean. Overall 10/10. Would definitely return to this amazing resort.

Overall, a top-tier experience. I would highly recommend the Royal Savoy and the surrounding Soho area, and I look forward to returning in the future.

I had an excellent stay at the Royal Savoy and enjoyed every moment of it. The hotel is truly marvellous, with beautiful surroundings, elegant design, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable from the very first moment. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very well maintained, and the facilities overall were of a very high standard. The pool areas were particularly enjoyable, offering both relaxation and a great setting throughout the day. I also spent time at Soho Square, which was equally marvellous—lively, well-organised, and full of great options for dining, shopping, and entertainment. It added a lot to the overall experience. What stood out the most, however, was the service. The staff were consistently kind, attentive, and professional, always willing to help with a smile and making sure everything was taken care of. Their level of hospitality made a real difference. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I strongly recommend the Royal Savoy and the Soho area, and I will definitely be returning.
