Royal Savoy Sharm El Sheikh

We had a great time at the royal savoy. The room was really nice (we had a royal savoy junior king bed suite with a pool view) and spacious. Local Egyptian wine (quite good!) and beer along with soft drinks and breakfast plus canapés and happy hour at the lounge were included. The royal savoy (adults only) is next to the savoy (families) and I think the royal savoy is a bit more well appointed with a higher standard of service and facilities. Service at the private beach area that’s separated from the kids is really attentive like it was at all service areas from breakfast to bar. Beach has sand but when you get in the water it has coral (like rest of sharm el sheikh really) but there is a little jetty you can dive from. The hotel is also located next to Soho Square which also belongs to the savoy group (Soho square is unfortunately a bit ugly in my mind with A LOT of lights - TOO MANY!) but has good choice of restaurants and shops for you to spend time. Finally the hotel is about 25-30 minute drive from “old town sharm el sheikh” and it maybe a nice little evening for you to go there (but honestly don’t expect a really old town - it still looks pretty modern really). Overall highly recommend the Royal Savoy!

Everything was absolutely excellent, starting from the accommodation, services, food, and the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly generous and welcoming, and we truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. It definitely won’t be our last visit. I genuinely felt the luxury and exceptional hospitality throughout the entire experience. Special thanks to Paula from Reservations, Hussein from Room Service, Fares from Rosemarino Restaurant, Amr the chauffeur, the chef, and all the rest of the wonderful staff who made our stay so memorable. We have been going to the Royal for many years People ask why Our holidays are to relax enjoy excellant food and first class service. This we recieve on each occasion We find the stand out staff are always the 3 girls angie .Kim and Jon They never cease to amaze us with their work load and smile Our room was excellant as usual.air con perfect.house keeping second to none Food simply gets better around it's 10 resteraunts including Soho square to suit all tastes Our favorite is the Italian the Rosemarino always excellant with a huge menu managed by Mr micheal and Mr hussein and their staff We are not sea /snorkel lovers but here you find the best. The Royal has 2 pools adults only everywhere well looked for drinks and food. Breakfast in the morning room with a chef to cook your needs plus an extensive buffet Mr Mamdouh the manager is never far away overseeing his staff and guest needs keeping up the standard and tradition of the 5 star hotel We have booked to return in Sept for a further 3 week Well done everybody and thank you Julie/peter
