Cadet Motel

It was clean.

Room was musty. The front door had a minimal lock. The bar next door was loud.

The place reeked of weed. The sink leaked water. The bathroom pipes were old and rusted and the mattresses had almost no padding at all. The place was cheap but at the very least, have a decent mattress for me to sleep on.

Although old, the rooms had modern comfort and were very clean. We appreciated the homey feeling and the nice owners. The motel is situated on a state road, but it is relativy calm at night. The creek and bushes with the signing frogs at night helped us sleep.

We would have appreciated easily opening windows, a kettle and a second chair.

Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Room was very nice and had a minifridge and a microwave. Bathroom was small but had soap and plenteous towels.

I wasn’t aware of how to set the AC (or that I would have to) ahead of time, and it took me a while to figure out how, I almost went out and slept in my car because i was so uncomfortable with no AC. (However, once I did figure it out it was very comfortable.)

Clean.

One of the worst mitels in the area, dead cockroaches, co struction and etc.

This property is clean, quiet and quaint. Loved my stay.

One of the worst motels I ever stayed in. Broken window on door held together w tape. Plywood door with only a door knob lock, no security lock . Bed uncomfortable. stain on comforter. Rust on bathroom faucet. So much dirt and dust on air conditioner I was afraid to turn it on. No closets, just a rod to hang your clothes, which was located above the fridge and microwave, so shirts rested on top of microwave. If I could have found somewhere else to go i would have. There's a lot of work they need to do before they can call it a motel.
