had an amazing experience at Avista Hideaway. The resort is stunning, peaceful, and beautifully designed. The staff were friendly and always ready to help, making my stay feel special from start to finish. I spent three nights at Avista Hideaway from Oct 17-20. The hotel staff from check-in, concierge, restaurants, housekeeping and ground staff were friendly, professional, helpful and most importantly, pro-active. Check in was a little chaotic as I did not get the quiet Mountain View room I booked and it just so happened that I arrived during a planned power outage. Avista had actually upgraded me to a jacuzzi room but I was not keen on it as I prefer a nice balcony to chill on. The staff was excellent in trying to find me an alternative room. However, things began to look better when the GRO, Majda, stepped in and took charge of the situation. Majda managed to upgrade me to the Pool Villa. This was greatly appreciated. It was a massive (too spacious for one person) and beautifully appointed villa. Very private and quiet. The hotel itself is huge with multiple buildings, pool and garden areas. In spite of this, the place has a sense of serenity and doesn’t feel crowded. I spent an afternoon exploring the grounds and found the rooftop putt putt with the best view. Breakfast buffet was delicious, with a huge variety available including fresh local fruits and juices. I had the opportunity to enjoy the Tasting Menu at the Michelin Guide Tambu which was a very nice experience. I’ll review this separately to do the place justice. Would definitely come back to this hotel. I had a lovely time. Thank you again to Majda, Chef Vikrant Subluk, Amin and the whole staff for making this a nice relaxing time for me.

Avista Hideaway is amazing. The place and people are all top class. Loved every moment of it and the staff were wonderful, specially Boy.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the amenities were excellent. The restaurants were really good, and the location was ideal—close enough to Patong for convenience, yet peaceful for relaxation. Perfect for families with babies. What truly stood out was the staff—they were incredibly kind and super helpful. I would return just for their warmth and hospitality!

Best stay ever! From the hotel’s location to the staff’s hospitality and the food — everything was top-notch. Special mention to Majda, Goldi, Abhinav, and Vishal — you guys were amazing and took such good care of us! I’ll definitely recommend my friends to stay at Avista whenever they visit Phuket. A mixed experience here. The toughest thing here is the check in. It takes them foreverrrrr to check you in. Almost every person waiting for check in looked annoyed and rightly so. Even though they confirmed everything over the mail in advance they were still very confused about our stay length and a room upgrade we had booked. Specially as an Accor plus gold member I did not get any perks or upgrade or a dedicated check in counter etc- probably cause the lobby is under renovation and they have a makeshift but very drab room with the check in desk. Other than that the only other downside was the distance- unless you are planning to stay in and enjoy the property/ staying here would add 10-15 minutes to your travel time each way. Now for the pros. The rooms were very spacious- one of the key reasons we chose to stay here. The premium room have really nice and big balconies and the hideaway pool villa is massive. But their bathrooms are so badly planned: all they need is to frost the glass so the bathroom can be used better- if anyone is using the WC- the other person cannot use the sink or the bath area in both the rooms- basic detail that can fix a lot of the experience here. To get to the rooms you need the buggy to and fro but they are very prompt with it so if you are traveling with your parents or young kids- it would work okay for them. The food quality is really good. We had the breakfast buffet and the floating breakfast here- excellent choices and options and really good taste and value for money. They didn’t charge us for the floating breakfast which was a nice gesture. The other issue here was that even though we booked triple sharing rooms they only prepped the extra bed after we asked for it and that was annoying cause we checked in at 11 PM. The rooms also need maintenance as it didn’t look up to the mark and that reduced the value for the money we paid to stay here. The staff here was very warm but language barrier was huge- specially at the front desk and with house keeping. All in all our stay was good but with better training and staffing it could have been amazing

The hotel has a beautiful scenery. Besides that, it is outdated. The rooms are old and the service is very bad and slow. This hotel definitely doesn’t take the extra mile to make your vacation pleasant Almost every thing there needs a fix, for example the AC at the gym doesn’t work. Also, the hotel is under renovation so they don’t have a proper lobby. The rooms had also many issues. In total, I don’t recommend this hotel.

Boi was wonderful! He always made sure our room was perfectly clean and comfortable. He’s so kind, cheerful, and attentive. We truly appreciate his effort and warm attitude. Thank you so much, Boi! 🌟

We strongly recommend the hotel and restaurant. Nice food, staff really kind, everyone smiling. We would like to thank to our waitress (A), give us best experience. Come here and you’ll never regretted.
