I stayed at Avista Hideaway Patong Resort & Spa from October 26th to 29th, and my experience was truly wonderful, thanks to Sita at the front desk. She made my check-in process incredibly smooth and was extremely polite, warm, and helpful throughout. With just one request, she was kind enough to upgrade my room, which made my stay even more enjoyable. When my credit card wasn’t working for the security deposit, she went out of her way to find a solution — by removing the mini bar so that I didn’t have to make a payment upfront. That thoughtful gesture really showed how dedicated she is to guest comfort and satisfaction. Sita’s professionalism and genuine care set the tone for a great stay at Avista Hideaway. The resort itself is beautiful, but it’s the staff like her who make it truly memorable. Highly recommend both the property and Sita’s outstanding service!

Beautiful imagery and reviews. The shock begins right from front desk at time of check in - rooms are not prepared post 2 hours from check in time as well as no sign of a cordial welcome drink or a cold/hot towel, basics one would expect. What is surprising is the lobby and entrance is beautiful so clearly the design is great… management is what’s off but then you get to know it’s a franchise property of Accor. Post check in at 11 PM the main outdoor lock (leading to the balcony) doesn’t work for which repeated calls are made only for someone to show up at 1 AM. Next the electricity the next morning keeps going in my mother’s room for which the maintainance person walks in without a knock or bell. The design of the property as seen in the images is great but no maintenance or sops given it’s an international chain. This is all day one, will keep you posted though definitely not recommended. Thai hospitality is way better than what’s experienced here.

We booked here for 3 nights in advance and added another night afterwards we absolutely loved it! The hotel is quiet, peaceful, and beautifully maintained — perfect for relaxing and recharging. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the dining was excellent, honestly as good as a high-quality restaurant. We booked the half board option; the only small downside was that dinner is a fixed menu with one main dish and either an appetizer or dessert. Still, the food was top-tier every night. A nice surprise was that the hotel upgraded our room without even telling us! such a lovely gesture! They also offer free yoga sessions on the mountain (highly recommended!) and lots of other activities at no extra cost. The golf carts are quick and always available, and there’s even a game room for some fun downtime. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Elia, who made us feel truly at home. The spa is just a whole experience that takes you out of this world!!! Feels like a dream. Overall, it was an exceptionally amazing experience — peaceful atmosphere, great food, and fantastic service. We’ll definitely come back! Again I would like to thank Elia again, Such an amazing person!!!

The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, with elegant decor and soft background music that set the mood perfectly. The service was exceptional — every staff member I met was polite, attentive, and eager to help. The view from my balcony was breathtaking, overlooking the turquoise sea and golden sunset. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic escape.Rooms were were beautiful and perfect.!

A unpleasant staying experience This is a hotel with unprofessional housekeeping staff, talking loudly speaking loudly in the garden in the corridors in the hotel everywhere, they close door rudely, doing work with terribly noise. From the early morning until 6Pm It's really unbearable how they behave, lack of training lack of professionally. All hangers in the closet with the height of 1.80 meters that's designed for tall Farangs, whose perfect idea for this insane design ? GM can you go fetch a robe for me you will know what I mean. A scale in the bathroom just for decoration, because nobody check it when it's low battery for a centuries. Hanging lamp in the bathroom covered full of dust and spider net without cleaning in dozen years such a great antique gift for your customers, thank you maid Baan. Lobby is under renovation with construction, they use a hall as a reception, check in and check out in rush hours with crowds feel like in a local market, don't believe what you saw those lovely high definition pictures, they just made up by editing App to make your eyes blur. My room in the building number 9, near the balcony is full of the smell of wild animal urine, am I live in the jungle or zoo cage, how the management team do the daily inspection jobs ? Or are they just busy for making promotion for the Indian media ? When you have breakfast walk in to restaurant, head up check the ventilation on the ceiling you will be quite surprised with what you see. At fresh juice station they use uncleaned cucumber still with soil juice for you, go to see find the truth by yourself. I am so kind to offer you 1 star, that's for your reception teams, their lovely smiles made me happy even I wait another 45 minutes longer after arrived at 3pm. Accor in Patong, It's a fantasy, What's the matter with this hotel, and what's the standard of brand of MGallery ? honestly speaking totally disappointed with all your property as a silver member of ALL. Check out time in the morning 9:45am, receptionist she didn't even want to have a look on you, it cost expensive to have a basic eye contact with you. In the end I DO NOT recommend this hotel to anyone, GM of this hotel you should work harder to keep your current position.

Great stay, good breakfast, unfortunately the weather wasn’t so kind to us it was raining most of the time, but the resort was good
