I have been using this hotel in the past 4 years or so. It started as excellent and then it is going down. I still like the area and generally like Hyatt hotels. So I have continued using it.

The reason I docked a star is because there were no blackout curtains and there was a very bright lamplight right outside my window that kept me up allllll night

This property seems lovely from the outside. But the gal at the front desk was not only unfriendly but, seemed unhappy to be there. Once we checked in to our room, we noticed the carpet in front of the sink was soaking wet. The carpet was drenched. We complained on our way out (a different front desk person) and they said they would handle it while we were out. We came back.......nothing. Our whole stay there we had to step in soaked carpet to use the sink. The stink and inconvenience was not good. The staff constantly acted bothered by any questions. Plus.....no outlet in the bathroom area for nighttime tinkle. Either stadium lighting or pitch black. I am thinking of going back to Marriott for all my travels. No customer service TLC at this location.

"Bed bugs"

Walking into the room, the carpeted floor had some debris that the vacuum missed. We were tired from a four-hour drive, so we wanted to rest a little before heading out for dinner. When we were about to lie down, we saw a bed bug on the sheet. My daughter asked what it was, but I didn't tell her because she worries easily. I told the front desk, and they said they were sold out, so there were no rooms to change to. Not even a single apology.

Breakfast options all had met or sausage mixed with eggs or potatoes. Please try to separate them as lot of folks don’t eat meat or sausage with eggs or potato.
