Knights Inn Winner

Place was very well maintained. Staff was very friendly.

The staff was very nice in that we were busy and I called and they left room key out for us for a late check in. However, we get to the room and there were dead bugs all over. Two of the pillowcases were stained with something black. Cosmetically, the motel is old, but paint would go a long ways. It was very uncomfortable and we decided to not stay second night due to the uncleanliness and dead bugs all over our room. We checked for bed bugs per other reviews and didn’t see any. However, I woke with some very itchy bites on my foot and ankle. I was told they wouldn’t refund me our second night stay and we should have woke someone at midnight when we arrived about the bug situation. Had the other hotel in town not been sold out due to class reunions, we would have went elsewhere.

The staff at Knight was super friendly and accommodating. I arrived late (almost mid-night) for check-in and I needed a place to work on my computer the next day after check-out time. The staff was able to make arrangement to suit my needs. I very much appreciated all their help! They also recommended places for me to grab food during the day. I like the Diner they recommended.

I admit that this motel is not much to look at from the outside, but our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The lady who checked us in was courteous and friendly. If you don't require "fancy" and just want a decent and affordable place to stop over with the family for a night, this place is for you.

Unfortunately our room and bedding was not cleaned/sheets not washed. Obvious hair (looked like dog hair) on pillow cases. We decided to check out right away and were able to find a place to stay in a lodge nearby.

When we went in, we tried to turn on the light & it kept flickering... tried to call the front desk, only to find there was a phone & no cord! The tv had a streak down the middle & wouldn't go away & the ceiling was starting to come down in one spot. Very disappointing!

Enjoyable stay

Water took forever to heat up, doors barely closed. Advetised with a pool but apparently the pools been closed for years!!!

I have stayed here several times and it seems to be going downhill fast.

The water in the shower would not shut off completely so it was noisey.
