Hotel Fontibon

It was just a passing by , we had a 10 hours gap . The hotel is in a very common neiberhood, not turistic but normal. Has a Catholic Cathedral near by. The hotel is not fancy, but it was Ok for what we need bath, bed and breakfast.

Stayed one night as was flying out the next morning. Arrived midnight and staff were welcoming and efficient. Simple hotel but had everything that was needed - good wifi, hot water and comfortable bed. Also arranged to take us to the airport the following morning for no additional charge.

This hotel is very close to the airport compared to other options. But for comforts & good rest this is not a good option. I am very use to bogota so I slept good with the noise but being on 5th floor the cars seemed to be inside with you. Very noisy & very cold. The barrio has a few options for decent eating in the 15,000 peso range but is dangerous compared to other barrios in the north. The hotel is older and I wouldn't stay here again. There are other option for just a few dollars more & 3 times better. The wifi would not work in the room & i had to go to other floors with my computer. The reception staff was very nice & let me check in very early were the only positives with my stay.

I had a flight arriving at midnight. They picked me up at the airport, one bed room, breakfast and shuttle to the airport next morning 6 am. Yummy breakfast, all that for US $20! You can't beat that. Location is NOT to walk around. Hotel is 8 minutes from the airport. There. was no heat! You get only one free van ride, either to or from the airport , area kind of rough,close to airport but far from everything else. Breakfast was OKAY but nothing special . If you want to invite a friend to your room, it's another 50,000 pesos even for only a few minutes . The room was clean,WiFi worked most of the time Well worth the price.

Hotel is about 10-20min drive from the airport. Beds are uncomfortable and there was a loud music that went on until early morning. I suppose I got what I paid for, luckily I was only there for a night.

Absolutely fine for a short stay at a good price. Near the airport.

Very good value for money. Staff on reception were very nice - however waiter at breakfast was pretty moody. Perfect for an airport stop-over. Taxi driver told me the area is very dangerous and not to go out at night. So if you want a comfortable bed for a reasonable price then this is fine.

Had late departing flight and wanted somewhere to shower & maybe have hour or so sleep.

I like the hotel. It was quiet, has a shuttle from the airport, and included breakfast. Unfortunately, I had to wait an hour for a driver to get to work so he could come and get me. But I didn't confirm my arrival time with the hotel before I left, so I am going to take the blame on that.
