Hotel Excel Okayama

Het uitzicht vanaf onze kamer op Okayama Castle was erg mooi met de zonsopkomst!

Het hotel oogt een beetje out dated, maar voor deze prijs is dat geen probleem

Habitación amplia, muy buena ubicación, desayuno muy bueno (muy buen café!). El personal fue muy amable en todo momento y muy eficaz, atención estupenda. Muy recomendable.

Central location, bountiful and taste breakfast; clean and comfortable rooms with seating.

Nothing all good

The rooms are as expected in Japan: small but comfortable. The location is great: a straight tram ride from Okayama Station, and just 15 minutes walk to Okayama Castle and its adjacent facilities. There are also shops and eateries near the station so it is convenient as well.

The building is old so they only provide a single traditional key for your room (not keycards). I also found a strand of hair wrapped around my shower head, so here's a warning (I'm not creeped by it).

It is located close to top attractions such as the gardens and the castle. Our room was spacious by Japanese hotel standards with a sofa and a separate makeup area with basin. The room had a view of the river and castle. Good breakfasts.

There wasn’t anything we disliked. It is a little dated but that didn’t bother us.
