Hampton Inn Clinton

We have stayed before so we were aware of the hotel and amenities.

Property was spotless and staff was friendly. Check in and check out was easy.

Remodeled beautiful hotel. Beds comfy. Breakfast so so like all motel buffets.

Reserved a king room and called 3 times to be sure we could check in early to get ready for an afternoon wedding. Assured there was no problem, on arrival I was told there were no king rooms available. I would describe the front desk person as unconcerned. Kinda’ tough luck attitude.

Room was dirty. Fuzz on the carpet, sticky spill on the tile and streaks of urine running down the base of the toilet. Shower insert had a crack in it and subsequently most of the caulking in the shower was black with mold. The hotel was contacted about this. They said they would follow up with either cleaning the room or switching rooms. They never followed up, so I just dealt with it.

The staff was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The property was clean and newly renovated. The workout room was new with many great options for working out. I would stay here again

Night staff very rude. Bordering on a mental condition.

No housekeeping, which would be okay but we stayed multiple days and got a note on the door that said we needed to allow housekeeping in. The note said we had a do not disturb on our door. We didn't. Sounds like someone didn't want to do their job.
