Sandals Emerald Bay - ALL INCLUSIVE Couples Only

A great resort: unique location, unbelievably beautiful beach; convincing and working concept (focus on 'couples in love'; all-in). We stayed for a week, went to a different place that we had previously booked and decided to go back to Sandals for another week. Food in the restaurants was excellent. Room service was slow and not reliable.

We had an amazing anniversary trip! The staff and amenities were fabulous! We will be back!

The staff were so nice and always gave you an hello. Didn’t line that you couldn’t get your hands on a paper menu unless you went to the front desk. I think they could post their menus and times opened in a clear glass box outside the restaurant!

We loved the staff at Sandals, very helpful and polite. The sand fleas were horrible. Bring spray with you!

VERY outdated... reeks of mold in rooms and other areas on the resort. Didn’t pay attention to food allergies or care about shared complaints. The list goes on and on...

The location and beach were breath taking. The grounds were immaculate. The golf course was absolutely stunning. British pub was original. Wines and spirits were very good. Beer available was poor (Kalick). The large swimming pool was unusable due to temperature. It was very cold. Gutted at this!!! The service was average with very few orders taken for food and drink actually fulfilled accurately. Some of the staff seemed unhappy and looked like it was a hardship being there. The real disappointment was the quality of the food. It was very average which was really poor! The Bombay - really bland flavors and potential catering to American tastes. il Cielo - Burned my lip on a bowl of pasta. The sauce was piping hot. Never in my life seen steam coming off a bowl of pasta! Kimono - pretty good. Very entertaining but again fairly bland flavors. Jerk shack - liked this place. Good food and amazing hot sauce. Barefoot - Couldn't complain. Very good burger. The Duck - again a safe bet. Basic pub grub. The Bahamanian - really disappointing. Ran out of raisins on the third day, walnuts on the 5th day and could not replace limiting my healthy breakfast options. Lunch options did not change during 10 day stay. Meal at night was cold and over cooked. Dino's - cant complain. Pizzas were fine. The only 5 star all inclusive resort is a stretch. Service very hit and miss. Food was 3 star. Extremely drunk guests being loud and rude at breakfast, lunch and dinner doesn't scream 5 star.

The property was impeccable and the staff was great. The food unfortunately was fair at best.

The hotel, food and service at this hotel are excellent. We had some trouble with the car rental through Island Routes, their tour agency. Car not delivered on time and attendants not available to help with our concerns. Attendants returned the car prematurely even though it was rented for one more day. Probably better to pick car up at the airport

We loved Emerald Bay! Great beaches, golf course, food and friendly staff.

The things we did like we're the property made us feel safe day & nite & had beautiful landscaping. The beach was clean & had ample & comfortable chairs & shade. There was a variety of food & alcohol to try. The bartenders were quick & attentive & all made great drinks. We had a clean & comfortable room. All workers we passed by or talked to we're always very polite. The things we disliked however were the ocean water wasn't as clear like many beaches on Exuma. They did not have the alcohol called "Kaluah" & had very a limited beer selection. While dining at a restaurant which we had to make a reservation for, we didn't receive some of our food, we weren't asked if we needed explanation on the menu items, which we did & we did have to ask & felt we took up alot of the waitress's time doing so. There was ABSOLUTELY NO NITELIFE/ ENTERTAINMENT AT ALL. 1 British pub had 3 pool tables & ping ping table, that's it. During the day there weren't any poolside events, they played the exact same music there day after day. The place is very spread out, there's alot of walking to & walking back from & walking & walking. We had heard on social media to pick up extra pool/beach towels because they run out, this is a true fact. They did run out on a few days & we luckily had gathered extras.
