Hampton Inn and Suites New Hartford/Utica

The breakfast was great. Very filling and clean. Staff was quick to refill items as they ran out. Room was clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. Great place to stay for the night before heading home.

There is not much for me to say here. If I had anything would be cost which was not terrible. There were higher priced hotels in the area. This place had grate ratings and was one of the better priced at the time I booked. I'm always looking for a better bargain though!

I was "upgraded" from a 2 queen room to a king size suite WITHOUT being asked, because there were no queen rooms left. That didnt work for me because I was with my teenager son... So I was given a roll in bed which was absolutely terrible. For anyone with bavk issues, do not sleep on this. The room had a bad odor upon entering so we were.obligates to keep on the AC and Fan which made it extremely noisy and impossible to sleep continuously. The breakfast was horrible. Very disappoiting overall. Won't return.

We made this reservation quickly due to an extended severe-weather power outage, and honestly I wasn’t expecting much. But from the moment the lovely woman at the front desk, Sam, greeted us, this was an exceptional stay. It’s an older hotel, with the unfortunate brown color scheme in the rooms (caroet, desk chair, sofa, etc.) really announcing its age. BUT the staff have done wonders to make it welcoming. The room, including the bathroom, was absolutely spotless and had obviously been carefully cleaned. And while housekeeping is only every other day, the bathroom was generously stocked with towels—something we rarely encounter! Extra outlets have been installed in charging station on both the desk and the nightstands (along with outlets in the lamp bases). This was especially important to us as we we needed to charge all our devices after being home with no power. My husband greatly enjoyed the pool, which was thoughtfully stocked with towels. And we both appreciated the well-stocked breakfast. Given the circumstances, we were really just looking for a reasonably priced hotel with working air conditioning. But we got so much more. It actually felt like a real vacation. Kudos to everyone at this property.

We booked for 3 adults and got one king bed. This was a expedia issue and since I ordered via a 3rd party the hotel could not do anything to chang it other than give us a cot. My son had to get his own room. Not good Expedia.
