Nice hotel, quiet area of Jesmond - yet close to the local bars and restaurants. short walk to metro. Jill was very helpful.

"pleasant hotel"

The hotel was very comfortable although we had a very small room (knew this on booking) but was ok as only there for one night. Hotel very clean. Good to have parking at back of hotel although a little tight to park. Staff were friendly although at times the reception was unmanned. Suitably positioned to our rugby day at St James Park.

The reception area of the hotel was lovely. The room was far too hot. It was unbearable. We asked for a fan. Which we received 1 1/2 hours later. This was broke when it arrived at our room and once we fixed it it was too noisy to use. Was given a new fan which was great. We asked for the bathroom radiator to be turned off. This didn’t happen. The bed sheets were dirty. The room in general was not clean or big enough. Was very squashed. We were very disappointed with the room considering we paid £65 for this stay. The fire alarm went off at 1:15am, only to go to reception and it be a false alrm. The breakfast was free but was very basic. There was no one at the reception when we checked out so we were unable to express our disappointment with our stay. We will not be returning to this hotel.
