Newcastle Jesmond Hotel

Really good to other places we stayed in Jesmond.

Really friendly helpful staff and nice modern clean room. Great location in beautiful Jesmond only 10 minute taxi ride into Newcastle centre.

Overnighted at the Newcastle Jesmond hotel recently and stay was absolutely perfect. Very friendly chap on reception and room was very comfortable. For the price it is excellent value.

There was no comfort in the bed mattress rock hard. Pillows you would think there was no pillows felt as if your head was just on a pillow case. That was the 4th or 5th time me and my partner have stayed ok it was only for 1 night but it was bad. Will still go back but would expect better as we like the hotel but think it is going down hill a bit.

Had to stopover in Newcastle due to train delays.RECEPTION VERY WELCOMING, PUT SOME FOOD WE HAD IN THE FREEZER UNTIL THE NEXT DAY FOR US.. VERY COMFORTABLE BED. WOULD STAY THERE AGAINF GOING FOR WEEKEND TRIP

No biscuits on tea tray only three tea bags . No shower gel. Our stay was okey the night receptionist was a lovely chap.

We paid just over £120 per night for a room that was a struggle to move in because of the cramped space. The en suite stank of sewage. The manager improved things a bit with a plunger but the fragrance never really left. The plumbing was a bit primitive generally. The hot water took a while to appear. There were no toiletries beyond a hand soap dispenser. The parking was as others describe but we were able to park without a problem. There was a machine in the foyer to dispense packets of Pringles. On a table were Mars Bars and other health foods at a pound a pop. The gentleman at reception was helpful in printing a map for us to guide us to the Metro.

Single room was clean, quiet and comfortable and the hotel is in an ideal location for nights out in Newcastle
