Red Hall Hotel

All of it lovely staff,lovely hotel.

Breakfast v gd. Cooked excellent. Service mostly good just one occasion people who came in after us appeared to get the breakfast we had ordered. Room - sink wd not empty & extractor fan not working. Otherwise v comfortable. Dinner - seeing family and friends so did not stay for dinner. Reception- friendly and helpful

Better en suite maintainance, the ramp for wheelchairs not v stable. Otherwise happy!

Overall experience was dire. With gales outside we went in room and there was no heating, how no one noticed before we arrived I don’t know, ended up with an electric heater. Decoration is tired, eg worn paintwork down to bare wood etc. We had booked afternoon tea which was twice the price as our local garden centre and much worse. E.g, sandwiches basic cheap bread with a single layer of ham, no chutney or seasoning. Not a good experience.

The location, attentive staff, the room size was good they had everything you could need. The breakfast was lovely, the hotel bar and restaurant was beautiful

The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful- that really makes a difference. Carla on Reception was particularly kind and helpful.
