Close to the beach

Dirty carpets, very strange way of way that rooms are - long corridors and stairs. Bathroom not very clean

Great position in the quiet village. Close to beach and coastal path. Good parking.

Pale bedroom carpet needs a clean. Convoluted up and down corridors to get to our room. No fan or air con during an exceptionally hot period. Short on staff.

Very friendly staff & owner, had a quality sleep, excellent food in restaurant. & breakfast was one of the best ever! Defford use again, can highly recommend.

There was no dislikes.

Whilst room was dated the bed was the comfiest I have slept in for ages..... Staff lovely especially Nat at breakfast - which she also made and was lovely and Nat couldn't do more for us. Bar was clean and prices reasonable and staff very friendly.

Rooms dated but clean - had to walk a long way to get to our room. Dogs off leads in bar area.

The location was spot on , only 100yrds from the beach. I picked this hotel because we have stayed before (7-8 years ago) and had a very good stay.

Although it was clean the hotel itself is very dated , the tv stopped working on our second night , we reported it and a chap came up and had a look , but no results. The shower door didn’t close properly and the cubicle leaked into the bathroom. We also had a problem with one of our meals , effectively pork under cooked is not good , the server chap did apologise but it was a bit to late by the time half the meal eaten.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent and there was a wide choice on the menu for the evening meals. The Wednesday evening carvery was excellent and very popular with residents and locals alike.

Friendly staff. Welcoming to pets.

Shower did not work. Overpriced room.
