The Hare & Hounds Inn

We have a lovely 2 nights, with dog and with some family joining us for a meal on the second night. Excellent food, imaginative menus and everything delicious and very good quality. Well priced wines, first class service. Rooms are comfortable. Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful,.

our room was very comfortable and spacious. Probably due a redecoration in the near future to maintain their excellent standards.

Wonderful quiet location. Staff were all spot on to a tee. Room was lovely. Nice breakfast.

Were told when we went down for evening meal that there was a reduced menu. A bit disappointing when we had paid a hefty price for a birthday treat. They did chuck in a couple of free drinks but we were restricted in our choice of food. Only 4 choices. If we were told this prior to paying we would have cancelled.

Beautiful place, lovely rooms. Staff very friendly.
