Cosy little pub with stylish and comfortable rooms, cheerful young staff and good food. Log fire in the bar. First floor rooms are preferable.

Kitchen seemed a bit stretched when there were three couples to feed on a January morning. I'm guessing someone didn't show up. Oh, and the choice of breakfast times is narrow (in January anyway): 0900 to 0930

Everything. Great staff, great rooms and great food, inviting open fires. Complements to the chef and staff.

Not a dislike, but a larger TV in the bedroom would be nice.

We had a fantastic time here between Christmas and New Year. Gorgeous pub in a gorgeous location. Would highly recommend. Food was also great.

"Price is too high for what you get."

Breakfast and dinner were delicious - the kitchen staff are clearly excellent.

No hot water for a shower, which wasn't ideal given we were on a walking holiday, and it was very cold when we arrived in our room. There was no offer of a refund for the inconvenience, and when I emailed directly with feedback, I heard nothing back. The inn feels like it needs updating - beds and pillows weren't up to standard for something we had to pay £208 a night for.
