Room has everything you need. Good location near motorway.

The Wi FI doesn’t work. This was my second visit and the same applied before. Staff didn’t know. Food had stopped when I arrived at 21:15. Disappointing - they could have made a sandwich!

The room was generally very clean, until we saw the window, as the grime on the paint was not impressive. Shame as the rest of the room was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The room faced the village green and was very quiet in what is a very pretty village. The staff were fine (except the one young girl who studied her phone and ignored us when we were ready to book in. Kids huh!!! We have stayed here before and would stay again, as it is good value and we like to support country pubs and it is well based for Bham airport.

We ate there, my food (chicken schnitzel) was very poor, but my wife's fish was fine. The side lights in our room beside the bed weren't working, so little things need to be tweaked.

Just made to feel so welcome and the staff could not be more helpful.

Good pub atmosphere and great staff

Lovely location

Lovely village pub, friendly staff, excellent food. Great value for money. Would definitely stay again.

The only downside was there was obviously a problem with the toilets in the pub.
