Lovely clean, spaces room with great staff'

The room we were in had a hole in the wall and a very uncomfortable bed. Furniture is extremely dated and has had a bad paint job done on all units. Although a new bathroom, it is very badly designed as who wants to look in the mirror/ use the vanity unit over a toilet? Also, a patron was allowed to Vape at the bar in full view of staff, and was not challenged about this. The staff however were very friendly and pleasant throughout our stay and the hotel it is an ideal location to look around Lyndhurst

Check in was easy, staff are all excellent and friendly and couldn’t do enough. The rooms are large, comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast was delicious. Great location, right on the beautiful high street. Would stay here again 🌟

Great place to stay. Room clean and comfy. Staff all friendly, food good. Its on the main road so if a light sleeper i would ask for a back/side room. We had room 4, which was in 1st floor above the bar so there is noise until closing time. If you want a bit quieter ask for 2nd floor but be aware no lift. Room had fan and an extra heater. Enough room for clothes/cases.

The property was beautiful. The garden was inviting and the staff was very friendly.

Stayed for 2 night with my mother and sister for a birthday celebration. Hitel rooms were well decorated and absolutely spotless. Facilities were top notch. Staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.
