The Night Inn

The only thing I liked about it was no traffic what so ever. Other then that the bed was hard the pillows was to thick and the AC. Doesn’t do anything for the rooms on the west side of the hotel. Especially when the maid comes and turns it up to 77.

I read the reviews and was sold so I booked it. As stated by reviewers the beds are comfy, the room is clean, the place is super quiet and the owner is very nice. This is true. I had to try it while on a road trip. Here is what I found: 1. The place is more out of the way than lead to believe if you are on the highway and not worth the extra 22 miles to get there unless you have a function in the area. 2. Also, there are minimal amenities: no coffee maker, no breakfast, no hair dryer, no iron, no pool, no fitness equipment. 3. The closest restaurant is about 5 miles away. Consider bringing a cooler and essentials. 4. When you take a shower the water pressure is low if someone in the room next to your is taking a shower at the same time. It is fine otherwise. 5. The bed is super comfy but the pillows are firm and don't conform at all. 6. The view from the back section of the motel is nothing but trees and beautiful. You can hear birds and other sounds in the morning. 7. The bath towels are the regular smaller white hotel towels but you can tell the owner takes care with laundering. The towels are soft and have a pleasant scent. We really appreciated that. 8. There was an above size half fridge in the room and a small microwave. Nice! Under no circumstances am I discouraging anyone from visiting but it may perfect for many people but not everyone so thought I should inform.

We stayed here on our way through to Charlotte. I am glad we chose this spot on the outskirts of Union rather that one of the big chains in town. The price was great and based on the recent review, we thought we would give it a try. It is off the main road, back behind a wooded neighborhood and if coming in at night it might seem a little spooky. But no worries, the light at the end of the road is the Night Inn and it is very welcoming. This is a no frills place but what they offer is high quality. Sure the building may seem a little dated but you can tell the owners take pride in what they do. The rooms were well maintained with modern, up to day amenities like a flat screen tv, cable, free wifi, fridge/freezer, and microwave. The room was impeccably clean and the beds were very comfortable. The pillows they offer were a little stiff for my liking but at least they were not the kind that go flat 2 seconds after you lay down. I would recommend that if you are coming here during the warmer months that you call about an hour ahead and ask them to turn the a/c on in your room. When we got here in July, it took a while for the room to cool down. However, once it got there, the room stayed nice and cool and very comfortable. The location is at the end of an already quiet road and there was absolutely no noise. If you are looking for a quiet, comfortable place with friendly people, at a great price, this is the place you need to stay in this area.

Good value provided for the price. Quiet, safe but a bit remote.

Amazing trip to visit Union, SC.

It was definitely out of the way but we are used to driving so it was fine. With as cheap as it was we didn’t mind. The place was clean and did the job.

I stayed overnight at the Night;s Inn November 10, 2017 by booking with Expedia. While the Motel is a bit off the beaten path, it was actually the nicest of three locations I booked between November 7-10. The room was clean and functional, all I would ask for, and service was exceptionally good. I especially want to thank and commend Amil Patel, who I think is the motel Manager. When I left the morning of November 11, I forgot my driver's license. Mr. Patel called me and offered to meet me half way, after I had traveled about 25 miles. That was exceptionally generous and kind of Mr. Patel and I than him for his willingness to do this. Not many employees would have been this kind and generous. Thank you Mr. Patel.

The hotel itself is great, but it is located REALLY far away from towns, restaurants, etc. However, that means it is VERY quiet.
