The Night Inn

Manager was friendly and helpful with questions that were asked. No frills but that's what you'd expect for the price. Could use coffee machine! Had to drive 5 miles for gas station coffee :( Didn't care for the several large spiders both alive and dead that were in our room.

It is tucked away, so it is quiet without worry of noise from traffic. Friendly staff and clean room. It is a few miles from town, but I enjoyed the short drive to town and could appreciate not being in the center of town.

Out of the way place we have stayed at numerous times. Quiet and good value for money

I cut my stay short in South Carolina, I was so disappointed with the cleanliness,location and I wasn't able to cancel my 2nd night!

Peaceful.

The hotel is located at the back of a neighborhood near a closed golf course. While there isn't much in the immediate area, that means it is very quiet. The motel is old but the rooms are very clean, and the beds are comfortable. The manager is very helpful if you have any problems. If you just need a place to stay and aren't looking for a lot of activities at the motel, this is the place to stay in Union.

This hotel is on the back side of a defunct golf course about 1/4 mile after the "Road Ends" sign. So remote I texted the location to our kids in case we went missing. Person at the desk didn't speak English (well, 2 words) I said "Hello, we have a reservation and need to check in". He said "HUH?". This went on several times before he picked up his telephone and spoke a few words in a foreign language (he spoke TWO English words), then tossed the phone to me through the hole in the Plexiglas and said "You talk!". If we didn't prepay I would have left then. I spoke to the person on the phone who asked me what I had a reservation for, who did I book through, how many beds did I reserve and how long was I staying. (There wasn't another car in the parking lot, and no one else checked in that day.) All this in an accent that was very hard to understand. Then he informed me that his uncle didn't know how to work the credit card machine. I told him I had prepaid. He said to give the phone back to the man behind the counter and he would call me later to get my name and details. The man then tossed a room key to me and mumbled something in a foreign language. We found the room that was numbered on the key and discovered the jacuzzi bathtub wrapped in carpet, right next to the bed. The blue light bulb above the tub added to the ambiance, but no chance we were getting in that! The toilet leaked water all over the bathroom floor, but the rest of the room seemed clean, but dated.

Pretty, secluded area with a small town feel. The new wasn't the most comfortable and the in room jacuzzi didn't work, but it was a quaint motel and decent for what it was.

Hotel is a little out of the way. A little old, but the room was clean. Bed was comfy.

We were in town for a Baseball tournament and it was very convenient with the fields being close by. The room was very clean and the owner was very friendly. Not a lot of choices for the town of Union and we felt this was the best option and couldn't beat the price.
