Hotel Factory Green Bogotá Occidente Calle 80

The hotel is nice, however it can get a little noisy. The food is amazing at the restaurant, I would say comparable to any fine dining restaurant, however you will have to wait long time to get your feast, which could be a little frustrating.

I arrived at the hotel around 1250 pm. I asked to check in, but was greeted with the phrase "check in is at 3 pm". I begged to check as a favor for a room ... mentioned I was dizzy... the lady ask per telephone and was told I could 20 minutes... I waited one hour later.. and nothing. They did give later on a tea, but did not feel at all the sense of understanding. I can understand the policy, but for a first timer .. I can not believe there was no room available.. how can then all room be available at 3 pm. This means that they were available ? But needed to follow the 3 pm policy. I feel sad about it

The hotel in general was good. Check in went smoothly and front desk staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints there at all. Hotel was clean well presented in all areas. Room was a decent size and neat / tidy. Bed comfortable and bathroom good. Shower was excellent . Room has no AC or fan and got a little warm. Restaurant and bar areas were good. I ate their 2 nights and the food / service was very good. My only 2 negatives would be as follows: - Rooms are noisy and poorly insulated from noise. There is a truck cargo terminal right next to the hotel and noise from there is frequent. Windows in the room are very basic and provide little insulation from this noise. There is also a lot of noise from the restaurant and bar area that can be heard in rooms. I used ear plugs at night to sleep. I am glad that I had them and I would say they are must for this hotel if you are sensitive to noise whilst sleeping. - Internet I found to be very slow, particularly in my room where it was often too slow to use at all. It was better in the restaurant and lobby area, but still pretty slow compared to other hotels I have stayed in. In summary the hotel is clean and well presented. Staff are friendly and service I found to be very good. Down sides are room noise and internet ...... which if were better I would have rated the hotel as very good !

A low medium level business hotel "in bogota". Its really out of the city and there are not real good connection. Room are standard, but it is really loud cause of the hall and restourant..every sound it is possible to hear in the room. Not really recomended!

This hotel is the only one close to the industrial district and most of the guest stay there solely for business purposes. Pros *The staff is very friendly. They are always willing to help, give advise on places to go at night and solve any questions you may have. * The taxis and transportation services are always available and the drivers are polite and willing to give you tips and pick you up at any hour. * Every Thursday, they organize a free hangout to Bogotá. They drop you off at Andres DC and pick you up later at night. * On the weekends, Yeison Barahona from the staff, organizes a trip to different landmarks in Bogotá. He coordinates the trip and then acts as tour guide. These details are very important, because this is a hotel that caters to business people, who don't get to visit the city during week days. Yeison makes sure that everyone is safe and helps everyone get decent deals when buying local souvenirs. Cons *The closets are really small and there are no drawers. This is very inconvenient if you plan on staying there for more than 3 days. *The physical structure of the hotel makes it prone to echos all over the place. If you stay in the rooms next to the streets, things can get pretty loud. Every night, you can hear the sound of the staff cleaning and storing the silver. This takes about 30 minutes around 11:00 pm every night, and it gets really annoying. *The rooms are really small, no air conditioning nor fans or ventilation. * The shower curtains are made of transparent plastic, which looks very cheep and tacky. * The room services can take up to 2 hours to arrive. If you go to the restaurant, the waiters also take a really long time to serve you and get your food.

I have been in Factory Inn for two weeks and the personnel has been very willing to help. Unfortunately, last week I got a cold but they have been there caring about my health. They have "entertainment activities" for free including free transportation to visit different places such as bars, downtown, Zipaquirá, etc!!! I found that GREAT

I have been there a couple of times. Both times for 10+ days. It is a great place to stay, if you are in a business travel. They service is great from all the employees, they always do their best to make you feel good. Not recommended if you are on vacation and want to visit Bogota because the city is a few miles away and taxis are expensive

Close to the industries but the food I prefer to went to other place because the service and the food in the restaurant wasn't good. The worst waitres services.

This hotel is located 20km or so, outside Bogota, in a factory zone. The rooms, even spacious, have a tiny closet, small table, 1 chair, thin uncomfortable bed (though big enough for 3!), and the only plug i could found, was behind the bed. Really not comfortable to work with a laptop or to plug a cellphone or an ipad. The most incredible thing i've seen at a hotel: NO FRIDGE FOR THE MINIBAR!!! The staff is great, always trying to make you feel welcome. The food is very good (great salmon, squid and club sandwich!) and the breakfast is ok. They have a little tour to the T Zone in Bogota in thursday's evening that lasts 3 hours including the trip to the zone. There are some spa services and enterteining amenities that i did not use.
