"The heart of Windemere"

Room was beautiful and homely, Rob and Tanya were amazing, very knowledgeable of the local area, very friendly and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast was really good too, hot and fresh. Location is fantastic - Central Windermere with 24 hour parking over the road and street parking. Both me and my partner Natasha would definitely come back.

"Leuk guest house, mooie omgeving en erg fijne hosts!"

Erg fijne hosts. Ik had de beschikking over een privé badkamer (niet en-suite); dat was fijn. De locatie is geweldig want met 2 minuten lopen ben je bij de winkels en je kunt er prachtige wandelingen maken. Op de parkeerplaats aan de overkant is een laadpaal voor elektrische auto's. Het voldeed aan de beschrijving.

Parkeren kan lastig zijn. Aan de straat mag je vrij parkeren, maar daar is vrijwel nooit plaats. Op de parkeerplaats moet je betalen (tip van host Rob: als je tussen 8-9 am een kaartje koopt, betaal je maar £1,40 en dan mag je de hele dag blijven staan).

I liked it was very close to Windermere town so we could walk into town and to the edge of the lake and back again The owners were also lovely giving a little tin of biscuits for Easter celebrations which was a nice touch to the accommodation and other places to visit like Ambleside are a short distance away (although not with Easter traffic be warned)

It was a little bit of a small room but nothing too outrageous and we did fit our 4 bags plus coats in there comfortably so we made do :)
