Hotel Iberia

Muito boa.

Even with a flooded bathroom the first night (I was quickly moved to a nearby room), this is still a great place to stay very close to everything in Montevideo. The hotel staff is so very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean (with a fridge to store snacks, breakfast stuff in), wifi works well throughout the hotel, AC/heat in the room.

Inexpensive hotel within walking distance of the old city, and only a few blocks from the Rambla. Pleasant interior, and the rooms were clean. I was assured my room had an in-room safe. It did not. Some staffers speak some English. No heat in my room; the A/C just blew cold air. Since this is winter, I froze my butt off even though I slept fully clothed with a hooded sweater! This was a HUGE negative for me, and I would never go back to this hotel. However, if you are booking in January rather than June, you won't want a hot room; you'll want a cool one, and this should work out fine. If you do book in winter, and speak Spanish, I recommend you call the hotel directly and get a firm money-back guarantee that your room will have heat.

We spent 4nights in this nice guesthouse. Perfect location, nice welcome atmosphere and good internet service. Worth the money we paid. No elevator, old linen and bath towels and not so confortable bed for two people are the only negative points.

Me pareció que la descripción que realiza el hotel es muy fiel a lo que uno puede ver cuando llega, ningún problema, por el contrario siempre muy buena disposición de su gente.

En la habitacion que estaba (6), se sentia fuerte olor a cloaca provenientes de baño, debia mantener la ventana abierta y la puerta del baño cerrada, ademas el desayuno no esta incluido como en el resto de los hoteles

Hotel simples, não possui elevador. Quarto pequeno mas confortável. O café da manhã não está incluso na diária (pode se pagar o valor a parte). O hotel dispõe de uma cozinha equipada disponível aos hóspedes. Possui ótima localização próxima a Avenida 18 de julio, Rambla e Ciudad Vieja. Atendentes simpáticos e atenciosos.

Nice little find, 4 blocks form the main street of Montevideo. Handy location close to restaurants, supermarkets and the city centre/old town/Port/Rambla. Valeria speaks excellent English. Wifi good, rooms clean, cable TV, Aircon.

Achei ruim, so tem uma escada, achei sujo, tinha gente fumando no quarto ao lado e a fumaça vinha para o meu quarto, nao tem cafe da manhã, minha, chuveiro e banheiro péssimos, toalha estava suja, não recomendo.

We arrived at this hotel late at night only to find out they had no confirmation from my booking w/Hotels .com. Had to wait quite awhile only to find out they were full. i read the confirmation number to the reception desk clerk, that I had received via email from Hotels.com, but she did not have it. We ende up going to another hotel very, vey tiny rooms....
